Privacy Policy

01Overview

This privacy policy applies to the Workylog app for mobile devices (the "App"), developed and operated by Sverdlykivskyi M ("we", "us"). It explains what information the App handles and what happens to it.

Workylog works entirely offline. You don't need to sign up or sign in, and the App doesn't connect to any server run by us or anyone else. The data you enter stays on your device, and we have no access to it.

02What the app stores

The App saves only what you choose to enter, and keeps it on your device.

Workouts

• The exercises you create and how you group them.
• Your workout history: when you trained and what you lifted.

Profile (optional)

• Your name, body weight and height, if you fill them in.
• Your body-weight history.

Preferences

• App settings, such as units and theme.

03What we don't collect

We don't collect, receive or store any of your information. In particular, the App:

• has no accounts, no sign-in and no cloud sync;
• sends no data over the network;
• has no analytics, crash-reporting or advertising SDKs;
• doesn't use advertising identifiers or track you across apps and websites;
• doesn't access your location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone or Apple Health data.

If you have turned on Share with App Developers in your device's privacy settings, Apple may share anonymous crash reports and usage statistics with us. Apple controls that sharing, it is covered by Apple's privacy policy, and you can turn it off at any time in iOS Settings.

04How the app uses it

The App uses the information on your device to provide its features. None of it is used for advertising or profiling.

05Export and sharing

You can export your data from Settings as a JSON file. The App opens your device's share sheet and sends nothing on its own, so the file goes only where you choose. Once you share it, whoever receives it is responsible for it.

We don't sell, rent or share your information with third parties, because we never have it.

06Device backups

Like most apps, Workylog's data may be included in your device backups, such as iCloud Backup or a backup made on your computer. You control those backups through your device settings, and they are covered by the backup provider's privacy policy (for iCloud, Apple's). We don't have access to them.

07Retention and deletion

Your data stays on your device until you delete it. You can delete it in several ways:

• Single items. Delete individual entries in the App. Deleting an exercise keeps its past workouts in your history.
• Wipe data. This option in Settings permanently deletes all exercises and history.
• Profile. Clear the profile fields in Settings.
• Uninstall. Deleting the App removes all of its data from your device. Copies you exported or backed up are kept until you delete them.

08Your rights

Depending on where you live, privacy laws such as the GDPR or CCPA may give you the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, or to object to how it is processed. We hold none of your data, so you can use these rights directly in the App:

• view and correct anything you logged;
• export everything as a portable file;
• delete single items, wipe your history, or uninstall the App.

09Children

The App is not directed at children under 16. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone, children included. Anything entered in the App stays on the device it was entered on.

10Changes to this policy

We may update this policy, for example when the App gains new features. If a change affects how your data is handled, we'll publish it on this page and mention it in the App's release notes before it takes effect. The dates at the top of this page show when the policy was last updated.
